JUNE!

Tuesday, June 7th, 7pm
DOING YOUR WORK: some tricks to increase productivity,
reduce stress, and rebuild (your totally internet-shattered) focus
A workshop, demonstration and discussion about how to focus and work on the stuff in your life that needs working on. Making things is hard enough as it is. Don’t make it harder through disorganization, stress, inattention and busywork. In this workshop we will talk specifically about:
- How to keep your email from running your life
- How to create and manage a to-do list so that you aren’t stressed about what you need to do
- How to have focused time and space so you can actually do what you need to do
If you have a notebook computer, bring it. If you have a notebook-
notebook, you could bring that too. Or Thrive will provide.

Workshop leader Matthew Latkiewicz is a writer and web developer. His work has appeared in McSweeney’s, Boing Boing, Techland, kottke.org, Grub Street, and WIRED. He also started The Lady Killigrew CafĂ© in Montague, MA with his partner Sarah Reid.
